About Us
Raynsford VC Lower School is a co-educational school for pupils aged 4 to 9 years with an average of 140 pupils on roll. It has strong connections with the local church as it was founded in 1826 to provide education according to the ‘principles and practices of the Church of England’.
We are a very successful school in Ofsted terms however our most important aim is to provide an education in which the children are happy and learn how to love learning.

We constantly have the needs of the child at heart. We provide a challenging, safe and fun environment where all are encouraged to explore, experiment, aspire and achieve to be the best they can. All members of the school community are valued and welcomed equally whatever their needs, race, beliefs, disability or gender.
This is achieved through:
