Welcome to Saturn Class
Miss Chegwyn is the Teacher in the Year 2 Classroom at Raynsford. She is supported everyday by Ms Jones and Mrs Jenkinson. The children always enjoy learning through practical experience and drama activities. This especially helps them to develop and enliven their creative writing.
We enjoy creating colourful displays of our art, design and topic based work. We also use rhymes, songs and actions in class to help cement the childrens' experiences.
The children need a bottle of fresh water everyday. Milk is also available to buy and helps sustain the children mid-morning.
PE kit can be left at school and washed over half term. Year 2 have PE on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We change library books first thing on a Friday morning. Show and Tell is last thing on a Monday.
Homework is handed out on a Friday and needs to be returned at the latest by the following Thursday. We reward children for prompt return of homework.
